Far as I know, this is their new address. They kept the name, and have revamped the premises a few years ago in what felt like a next generation takeover.
They are closed on Tuesdays.

Monday or Tuesday. Can't recall now Tuesdays closed. Confirmed.
Ordered the dry style, noodle are very well blend with their chilli + fried onion + fried pork. The broth is thick and fragrance. Freshly served prawn. Not cheap and always crowded. Limited parking space.
Overrated. Tasted MSG. Maybe it is the flavor for tourists but definitely not for a foodie.
Alittle pricy but very nice. Have to order the ngoh hiong also!
Lives up to its reputation. You get what you pay for. Prawns are larger than those regular prawn noodles you get outside as well. Most importantly the food is served almost instantly.
Great tasting prawn noodles with rich flavoured broth. The prawns are not the small sized ones but are rather huge. For the price, it is a good deal. Their lemon juice is good too, very refreshing for a hot day. The only drawback is that they are crowded during lunch hour, and you might have to wait for some time to get your food.
Love the broth but believed it could have been a little stronger. Noodles are nice and have good texture, chosen prawns are delicious too. Downside would be the higher price and even ordering large size feels like the standard size of average stalls. It's memorable because of it's reputable and famous but the food itself doesn't reach that standard in my opinion. Good but not great.
Still my favourite prawn noodle.
delicious & flavourful !will be back soon !
Went for the very first time in my life, especially after the rave reviews from vloggers and other food critics. Had the dry version, with yellow noodles and vermicelli. Chill was alright, soup was watery and rather bland. Prawns were big, but not really sweet tasting (unlike those eaten really fresh off the coasts of Cambodia and Thailand). In the end, it's subjective, but to me there are better prawn noodles elsewhere.
Strong flavourful shrimp soup. This is a rare and true delicasee.
Good bowl of noodles with great fried side dishes for sharing. Those who drives may have difficulty parking though. Convenient for those taking public transport.
Wasn't as good as expected. The soup doesn't have prawn taste. Very diluted, taste like beansprout soup. Disappointed. :( The prawn was okay. Small bowl costs 6 bucks each for dry and soup.
Always as good. My monthly indulgence
Food is really good. Waiting time is short. Ordered drinks at counter. The drinks were served to my table even before i could walk back. Epic.
Large fresh prawns and great tasting broth.
One of the best places to have prawn noodles, love it since young.
Love classics prawn mee
This place is an institution. Would not say that it's the best Prawn Noodle you can get but it's a pretty decent place that's popular and been around for many decades. Goes well with the fried prawn rolls. Service is quick and price is reasonable. However, parking can be a pain.
The pork ribs is so tender. The sauce for the dry version is quite good, not really spicy. The soup is extremely flavourful and not fishy. We feel that the soup for the dry version is more robust compared to the soup version.
The prawn noodles here aren't that great to be honest - the broth lacks flavor and is quite oily as well. The ngoh hiang that complements it is not anything particularly special too.
Despite the higher than normal price tag, the food is ridiculously good. The depth of the broth and the quality of the ingredients are simply impeccable. Do add some chillis into the soup to create another dimension to the dish. Did I mention that the soup is refillable for free? Just bring your bowl back to the counter for extra servings of their irresitable soup. Do not miss out the ngoh hiang too while you are at it. Only downside really is the queue and messy system or the lack of any.
Great prawn noodles. Expect a wait no matter what time of day. Broth is rich and worth the wait. The seating area clears up quite quickly. Price varies depending on what you purchase but generally worth-it.The ngoh hiang stall next to it used to be better but is still reasonably nice to eat. Overall a nice place for a nice and relatively inexpensive meal.
My regular fix for delicious prawn noodle with pork ribs! Some love the soup version but my personal favourite is the dry kway teow noodle with their handmade chilli sauce! Highly recommended!
Always crowded. Had my usual large bowl. Amongst all the prawn noodles in Singapore, I think the 'Beach Road Prawn Mee' family's stalls are still amongst the better ones. Expect some differences between stalls. This is the most robust version. I prefer the milder and more rounded one over at the 'old' stall where the founder's son is based at.
Horrible car park situation with very limited streetside parking. Be prepared to wait a long time while heavy traffic whizzes by. There's not many public carparks in the vicinity and even then, there's only just a handful of lots.
As always shared in my past comments. It's always freshly shelled prawns with a taste of goodness and Prawns power in their broth. We don't mind travelling in grab or bus downTo their location a Becoz it all worth .Plus, don't miss their crispyness fried stuffs.Makanan boleh jalan.🍲🍲🍲🍲🍲
No air-con but so delicious that you are willing to visit when the weather is hot!
Still one of the popular prawn noodle store in Singapore but the stock taste has gone lighter.
Ithe soup is nice which is not so powerful prawn taste as the great world. However there are only 1 big prawn and the meat is half the size and lots of pork ribs which does not add up for the medium size price of s$9 (6 small and 12 big)
Dewicious pigs tail. But why only 1 prawn??!!. soup is dewicious tweat though. And fried wu xiang is nice. Price is on the high side though, for quite little amount of noodles and ingredients.. bunzbunz angwy
tried the prawn noodles soup and the soup broth is very delicious! wanted to ask for more soup because it just isnt enough
My favourite prawn noodle stalls! The soup is flavorful and you can taste that they used many ingredients to prepare the soup. They serves wu xiang also but I find it taste average. The only down side is the seating arrangement is too close.
Treat yourself to a Jumbo prawn bowl! They halve the prawns so it's easy to get to the flesh without using your hands!
They have nice homely tasting rich broth with nice noodles. The prawn is quite fresh compared to other places . I prefer the Jumbo prawns to the other bowls as the broth seems to be sweeter.
Standard remains over the years - thick broth and noodles perfectly cooked. But prawns (1 fresh and 1 not so). I deducted one star as I think it is too expensive - from $4 to $5 and now $6 yet not an extra half prawn or more veggies 😅
I ate the dry vision. The chilli and the onions old not so aroma. There are 2 prawns cut into half. By look is a big bowl of noodles but actually the portion is not so much. Stand out of best 10 prawn mee in Singapore.
Love this prawn noodles n ngoh hiang n prawn crackers mix. One of the best prawn noodles in Singapore. Parking is limited though.
Always a pleasant experience here with their food. You will be hard pressed to find a better prawn noodle seller than this! Highly recommended. Just make sure to allocate and set aside some extra time for queuing and finding seats and car park lot if you drive too. Very packed even during non meal times.
Had the dried version. Good but not outstanding
Though it get busy and crowded, they are pretty fast and efficient in getting your order to you. Tried their soup version, flavorful but that also means, msg overload. I was so thirty after the meal even after few hours (I didn’t really drink the soap other than slipping while consuming the beehoon).
I would say that the Soup is the main soul of this dish and the shop did a good job in the making of the broth to be savory. I have had many places of prawn noodle in Singapore and many times they were artificially too sweet from the addition of sugar/rock sugar instead of a savory flavor. Personal recommend for visitor to try with the pork rib as the pork rib are cook till tender and flavorful which compliment well with the dish, prawn was above average. Price wise a little high for the portions as it goes by $6,9,12. Other than the price i would say recommend first timer to come and try at least once if you have a thing for soup prawn noodle as it is definitely the better ones i have tried in Singapore.
This place has good prawn noodle broth. A little on the pricier side for prawn noodles and the portion is almost similar to what you get outside at a cheaper price but I guess it's worth it for the broth. It would have been better if there's more consistency on the freshness of the prawn. We ordered the normal prawn noodles and jumbo prawn noodle. The prawns for the normal was not as fresh as the other time we were here. The prawn meat was sticking to the skin and I had a hard time peeling it off. But there's wasn't that issue with the jumbo prawns. The wuxiang store at the same location is a must try too. A great side dish to go along the prawn noodle.
Food Great But Hygiene doubtful especially with Covid-19 situation.
Soup still tasted same as before. the ngoh hiang stall also good
Great big prawns noodles in the east. Be prepared to wait cos queue is always long.
Nothing special.. felt that it’s really overpriced and got really thirsty after drink the soup. Feel that it’s only good if you ordered the XL prawns... for the price of $12???? Nah...Nevertheless service was quick
Prawn Bee Hoon Mee Soup. For a more robust true prawn based and dark broth soup and when Ayer Rajah is a little too far for east siders, Beach Road Prawn Mee is the go to place.
I think one of best prawn mee. The food is good, slightly on a pricier side but really worth it
The best prawn noodle (at upper East Coast Road)!!! Never fails to satisfy my craving. Long queue most of the time but clear fast. Worth queueing.
I always eat the dry version. Its simple comfort food for me and the prawns are always fresh and noodles cooked just right. One of the nicer prawn noodles around. Dine in is much better than take out though.
